This review and giveaway is for another truly AWESOME and waterproof pair of trainers! My dd is super skinny and these trainers fit her PERFECTLY!  Best of all they are waterproof.  These are my go-to trainers for naps and outings when she is in her "big girl" pants!  I love that these give momma peace of mind that no mess will need cleaned up if an accident occurs!

Here is the story behind babybayrs:



I am a WAHM. I grew up and came from a remote place in China where living necessities were handmade, from growing crops to cooking foods, from growing fiber plants or raising wool animals to weaving fiber and wool into sheets and yarns, to dying, to handsewing clothes including hat, scarf, jacket, pants, blanket, quilt, socks, gloves, shoes, and woman's cloth menstrual pad :-)...everything.
My mother cooked and sewn everything for a family of seven, BTW, under oil lamp. Memories of my mother falling asleep while handsewing and needle stuck into her hand is vivid forever in me. My father did farming and is called the main provider nowdays. And he processed fibers, made fabric and yarn, dyed, and knit wool hat, gloves, socks, sweater, and pants (Besides sun, there was no other heating in winter, people had to dress in layers of padded cotton and wool clothes, wool hat with earflap, wool gloves and wool socks are must to live alive in winter). Unfortunately, both my parents died young when I was in middle school. Yet anything I can do with my hands today are from them by playing around them while they were handmaking things, by eating and wearing their works, by missing them in my later life, and by becoming one of them now - a parent.
Finally, with the long story told, my parents are my inspiration, my baby is my driving force and "consumer" for cooking and sewing. My homemade and handmade mainly baby products mean to be practical, parents friendly, "consumer" (my baby and my friends') tested, baby friendly, and/or eco friendly. We love these trainers...they came in the mail and DD opened the package (with help) and said new pants! She does not like to pee in these "big girl" pants but, when she has they hold it and then some.  No wet messes on baby or mommy!  I truly feel comfortable leaving the house with these on!

I love this diaper bag!  It's so big and roomy!  Works great for day outings and traveling!  I also love the fact that it reflects me and my daughter!  I love that the inside is coated in plastic for easy cleaning.  I also love that you get to pick your fabrics inside and out for a completely custom bag!

 

This bag has 3 pockets inside (I put stuff in them to show them) and 3 outside on the front and 1 on each end....so that's 8 pockets!  Now I love this bag for travel because I like to take a spare Mommy shirt for whatever reason and usually 2 outfits for DD plus CD's and a wet bag, cups, etc.....

This review and giveaway is for a sized diaper cover from Rethink crafts.  I am in LOVE with this cover...Daisies are may fav!  We use it for when we wear our "big girl pants" (aka gerber trainers) since they are not waterproof and poof...they are now!  This cover fits DD like a glove!  Most covers I have tried on her are bulky and don't fit her like they should...but this one is the exception!

Cynthia is the WAHM behind this great cover.  She is a mother of 3 who loves to create from recycled materials when ever the kids allow her the time. She lives in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge and is surrounded by people who are eco-friendly. This makes it even more inspiring to try to create using recycled/reclaimed materials and try to cut down on the amount of waste in landfills.

This is the diaper up for winning! Who doesn't like oogas????   I am not usually a fan of pocket diapers BUT I love this one!  I love that she sends 2 inserts and usually I find that the inserts that come with pocket diapers are more narrow than the diaper which only allows it to wick and leak...not the case with these inserts.  She takes a MF towel and sews it at one end!  It is able to get CLEAN and dry faster that way.  You know how you tend to get the smells with MF....doesn't happen with these I think because the layers open for washing...and the diaper!  The diaper fits my DD PERFECT!  I mean jeans, stretch pants, dresses it always fits!  I LOVE new school cloth!  In fact when/if we have another baby I am streamlining to mostly her diapers (plus my fav AIO/AI2s!

I love how nice, thick, and absorbent this diaper is...it takes a little longer to dry but the diaper is worth it!  It is perfect for nap time! This adorable AIO is made to be cute as it is, but also trim enough to fit under clothes.

Made with a cute outer layer, hidden inner layer of pul, an 8 layer flannel inner, and soft microfiber layer up against baby's bottom. Elastic around legs and across back ensures a great fit, and hook and loop closure maximizes the adjustability. Diaper also has extra tabs of loop for attaching the hook tabs to prevent diaper chains in the laundry.

I couldn't ask for anything more in this diaper...I love that it fits under her jeans!

 Rose is a stay at home mom to 4 little ones. Her quest for a great cloth diaper began with their third child, but she could never find one that was cute and absorbent, but still trim enough to fit under clothes. This is a review for a wet bag from Moms crafts 4 U!  I LOVE this wet bag!  It holds a ton!  I have had puked on clothes and several diapers in it!  I have had it for a while now and I wash it almost daily and it has held up better than "manufactured" wet bags!  It is so adorable and "trendy" it doesn't look like a "dirty diaper bag" at all!

This diaper holds a TON!  I love that it fits my daughter perfectly!  These diapers are made with an outer cotton layer, a middle layer of PUL and an inner layer of microfleece that is soft on your baby's skin and will keep your baby dry. All the diapers come with a 6 ply liner made with 2 outer layers of microfleece and 4 inner layers of diaper flannel, that fits in the diaper pocket.  I love that it is one size making it the only diaper you will need in your stash! 
All diapers are custom made...you pick the fabric!  The winner will get a free diaper with their choice of fabric!

Some background info on the momma behind the diaper...

"I am a proud mother of a 1 year old, Jonah and will soon be married to Jonah's dad, Jesse. I have a degree in graphic design and am working on my degree in elementary education, which hopefully I will get a position teaching art. This is a review for a sling pea hip sling!  They are awesome!  I have also included some background about baby wearing as requested by a follower :)

What is baby wearing and why is it a good thing?

Baby wearing is when you wear you baby in a sling or carrier while they are awake and laying them in their crib to sleep so you can tend to your needs. 
There are so many benefits.  Babies cry less when carried with a parent.  They learn more as they are more alert and cry less.  A babies gestation period is really 18 months.  Birth occurs and interrupts the cycle however, baby wearing can extend that period by providing an external regulating system.  Sling babies are also humanized sooner and statistically smarter.  
Baby wearing also has benefits for breastfeeding!
The unorganized sucker gets more organized.  It helps mom care more easily for siblings and makes breastfeeding easier (especially in a slingpea).  

This next one is especially important to me....baby wearing of premature infants!  As you may or may not have read my LO was a growth restricted preemie!  I began the process of baby wearing as soon as we got home and she was a little over 4 pounds!

Preemies are often very small and sometimes fail to thrive and by baby wearing provides a therapeutic way to stimulate thriving!  It also helps normal babies who gain weight too slowly.  Baby wearing especially kangaroo care also helps regulate a baby's temperature.  Baby wearing provides a calm environment similar to the womb and therefore allows an infants energy to be used to grow instead of to cry to convey one's needs.

This sling is made by Beth at slingpea.com.  Beth is a hardworking momma of 2! She has been sewing since she was a teen and loves it!  She created her first sling after her first baby!  These slings are super stylish, convenient, and easy to use.  They roll up and fit in the diaper bag so you will never be without it!  They are made of Cotton/ Lycra Sateen and Twill.  This combination allows them just the right amount of stretch!  This sling has a versatility uses!  It works not only as a sling but also as a cover for dirty changing tables or the grass/benches if at a park, it works as a pillow for kids who nap in strollers, and it can provide a discrete nursing cover!
