I love our Inspired by Finn necklace!  We have the hazelwood and pearl necklace.  I chose this one because DD has severe reflux and I like the idea of a more "natural" form of medication.  I was sceptical at first especially being an RN.  However, it works!!!! DD is now down to 1 dose of meds a day!  Not to mention it's so cute on!  We put it on in the AM and leave it on until after bathtime is over since the key to helping the natural oils in the hazelwood is moisture!

This is a review for a sling pea hip sling!  They are awesome!  I have also included some background about baby wearing as requested by a follower :)

What is baby wearing and why is it a good thing?

Baby wearing is when you wear you baby in a sling or carrier while they are awake and laying them in their crib to sleep so you can tend to your needs. 
There are so many benefits.  Babies cry less when carried with a parent.  They learn more as they are more alert and cry less.  A babies gestation period is really 18 months.  Birth occurs and interrupts the cycle however, baby wearing can extend that period by providing an external regulating system.  Sling babies are also humanized sooner and statistically smarter.  
Baby wearing also has benefits for breastfeeding!
The unorganized sucker gets more organized.  It helps mom care more easily for siblings and makes breastfeeding easier (especially in a slingpea).  

This next one is especially important to me....baby wearing of premature infants!  As you may or may not have read my LO was a growth restricted preemie!  I began the process of baby wearing as soon as we got home and she was a little over 4 pounds!

Preemies are often very small and sometimes fail to thrive and by baby wearing provides a therapeutic way to stimulate thriving!  It also helps normal babies who gain weight too slowly.  Baby wearing especially kangaroo care also helps regulate a baby's temperature.  Baby wearing provides a calm environment similar to the womb and therefore allows an infants energy to be used to grow instead of to cry to convey one's needs.

This sling is made by Beth at slingpea.com.  Beth is a hardworking momma of 2! She has been sewing since she was a teen and loves it!  She created her first sling after her first baby!  These slings are super stylish, convenient, and easy to use.  They roll up and fit in the diaper bag so you will never be without it!  They are made of Cotton/ Lycra Sateen and Twill.  This combination allows them just the right amount of stretch!  This sling has a versatility uses!  It works not only as a sling but also as a cover for dirty changing tables or the grass/benches if at a park, it works as a pillow for kids who nap in strollers, and it can provide a discrete nursing cover! 
The slingpea sling can also help with traveling by eliminating the needs for bulky strollers and freeing your hands for picture taking.  It allows busy parents to still enjoy their vacation while also tending to the needs of any child up to 35 pounds!  For me this was great!  We went to an aquarium where no strollers where permitted and my LO loves to take off.  I put her in the sling pea and she was able to enjoy all the exhibits while being calm and cuddling with momma!  I have used my sling as a changing pad many of times and also as a pillow as mentioned above!  I could not imagine life without my sling!  My daughter loves to get in it and help push shopping carts or get a piggyback from momma.  Another added bonus is that cold and flu season is coming and people will keep a safe distance from a LO in a carrier or sling yet if they were in a stroller often people feel they need to touch your baby or toddler!  I loved wearing Maddy last year in cold and flu season as no one came close to her!

Blog giveaway....Review for Diaper and wipes clutch!

This clutch is adoreable!  It keeps a small pack of wipes and a diaper handy at all times!  I used it to carry in my purse or leave in the car!  It also works great for dad's (everything in one easy place!).  I also loved the prints available!  This is a momma's must have! Being mom sometimes leaves us unorganized and forgetful (well at least me) and with this clutch I have always had wipes and a diaper in the car for those moments when you thought you would just run to the store really quick and decide to leave the diaper bag behind!  It has saved me many times over!
